VISUAL: Reference Image. Damian's 5'10" and weights 175 lbs. Long, shaggy black hair in sore need of a cut. Blue-Green Eyes. Light olive skin.
SCARS: Everywhere. But the most prominent one is almost reminiscent of an autopsy scar, a remnant of a life-saving surgery in which his mother had all of his organs replaced after they were damaged by an explosion. He also has a long scar that runs down the length of his spin from a spinal transplant.
MENTAL STATE: Kind of a hot mess. He suffers from crippling guilt and self-loathing thanks to everything that he's experienced. Damian's thoughts almost always skew towards the violent and he's not prone to giving second chances after all the atrocities he's witnessed people who were granted mercy preform. He's sharp as a tack and incredibly dangerous, but also easy to manipulate if you knew exactly what buttons to jam.
SUPERPOWERS: In peak physical condition. He can take a brutal beating at the hands of Gods and superhumans and come out of it alive, but he can't match them for brute strength. He has fire mimicry and can set himself on fire when overwhelmed emotionally, and heat absorption/expulsion thanks to repressing feelings.
TRIGGERS: Dick Grayson's death. People praising his father. Like anything to do with Batman, really. Probably people grabbing him by the head, or suddenly touching him without his consent. That doesn't end well for him.

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Probably don't touch him. It's for your own good. Damian doesn't really know how to react to people he's not familiar with touching him in even a friendly way. If you're close to him you can probably get away with it.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Quick to it. He's brutal and nasty in a fight, if you throw a punch be prepared to get one in return. And he doesn't pull them.
RELATIONSHIPS: He struggles with interpersonal relationships. He has never had any experience with romantic relationships due to his involvement with the Regime and his single-minded dedication to the cause. He keeps friends at arms length.

OPT OUT: Please let me know if there are any facets of Damian you don't want to be involved with. He has a backstory of intense child abuse and manipulation. He was involved in a totalitarian government that believed in the execution of criminals, he's killed loads and loads of people. And if at any point a thread goes somewhere you're uncomfortable with please tell me, I have no issue retconning things in threads or working them to be more comfortable for all parties involved!

discrepancies between injustice's comic and the games.
Date: 2018-05-23 04:33 pm (UTC)as far as cyborg and damian seem to know in-game, the teen titans were killed when the bomb dropped. in the comics they just disappeared after beast boy and kid flash's funeral.

damian spent roughly six months tied up alone in a room.
he has been in the red sun prison for about a year by the time injustice 2's comic starts.
the justice league have raised him longer than bruce has. he has a strong attachment to diana and clark who served as parental figures.
damian's ended up flat on his back hard enough to crack the ground seven times. and that's just what we've been shown.

the order of the robins is different. dick was the first robin, tim drake was the second, and jason todd was the third. damian stabbed tim when he was eight. batman and son still happened more or less as it did in canon.
tim left to go form/join the teen titans.
when damian returned at ten when he hears his father is missing. jason was already robin. damian stabbed him at least once in an attempt to make off with the robin costume. it backfired in his face, but the two of them still managed to bond. dick takes over as batman and damian becomes his sidekick. dick becomes the parental figure that damian has always craved and manages to wrangle his temper.
damian is eleven. bruce returns thanks to the efforts of tim and jason.
damian is twelve. jason is murdered by the joker. bruce's inaction causes a rift to form between him and his youngest son.
INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG US PREQUEL CANON BEGINS.
damian is thirteen. the joker drops a bomb on metropolis. the game seems to imply that the teen titans disappeared in the explosion, the comic shows that they disappeared later. so we'll split the difference: bart and beast boy died in the explosion, the teen titans disappeared in the area shortly thereafter. in reality, the surviving teen titans are imprisoned in the phantom zone by superman.
damian becomes enraged at batman’s refusal to admit that not all criminals are worth saving. when the justice league arrive in arkham to move the criminals to a more secure prison, he goes to stand with superman. dick tries to talk him down, but damian has none of it. in a fit of rage, damian throws his escrima at dick’s head, expecting him to catch it. dick is distracted and does not react in time, leading to the weapon knocking him off balance and dick breaking his neck.
bruce blames damian and disowns him on the spot. superman steps in and brings damian to his side.
damian then spends the next five years working as superman’s right hand man. clark manipulates damian by giving him exactly what he’s always wanted – a loving and attentive father who seems to love him for who he is. damian tries to make amends with his father several times but is rebuffed. damian begins to resent his father and his methods.
damian is kidnapped and held in the house of mysteries for a few months. everything goes to hell. trigon is killed. trigon ends up possessing raven. dick becomes the new deadman.
the war with the green lanterns happens.
damian continues to see alfred, but any attempt at resolving things with his father only ends with more distance between them.
ghost!dick gives damian support and eventually passes on the mantle of nightwing to him.
alfred is murdered by victor zsasz. this was orchestrated by superman, both to hurt batman and to ensure that damian would not be influenced by him. he then sets damian upon alfred’s murderer to ensure his crime would be covered up.
the war with the gods happens. the greek gods are driven back to mount olympus.
INJUSTICE happens.
superman is defeated. damian and superman are imprisoned in a red sun prison.
jason todd is revived in the interim. jason is referred to as 'kid' (something clark does to only the teenagers/young adult opponents) and seems to be damian's age, if not a little older.
talia breaks damian out of the prison and introduces him to his sister, athanasia al ghul.
damian helps kidnap ted kord. ted is left with injuries that slowly kill him in prison.
the league kidnaps the children of heroes. damian, athanasia and jason steal alfred’s body. damian takes him to the lazarus pits. alfred is revived but is mostly comatose.
the insurgency raids the league's base. bruce and damian fight over alfred, bruce breaks damian's arm and kicks the ever loving shit out of him. blue beetle shoots diablo who can't control that much energy and destroys the compound.
damian goes to khandaq to recruit black adam and meets kara zor-el. kara convinces him to pull away from the league and become a better person, something he tries to do. he interferes with the plan to kill humanity.
for thwarting king solovar's plans, damian and athanasia are set to be sacrificed. talia lays down her life for her children. athanasia breaks out to go kill bruce as she blames him. damian heads back to khandaq.
as part of a grander scheme to break superman out of prison, damian is recaptured by batman and associates.
