in injustice 2 they show it as an incident where damian murdered zsasz to prove his loyalty to the regime. damian accidentally killed dick grayson with an escrima stick. he threw it, it hit dick, he fell and broke his neck on a rock. bruce didn't see what happened, just the aftermath - and assuming the worst, he abandoned damian then and there. he did eventually kill zsasz, but only after he killed alfred on superman's orders.
as far as cyborg and damian seem to know in-game, the teen titans were killed when the bomb dropped. in the comics they just disappeared after beast boy and kid flash's funeral.
