I did. As far as anyone knows you're dead. I don't recall anyone updating the records, and you sure as hell didn't think it was relevant to tell me until Mother turned up with you.
Regardless, they know who we are. I find it incredibly unlikely that they went to all of this trouble to drag us here and didn't do their research. Our goal isn't to hide from anyone from home who matters, it's to keep degrees of separation between our identities here and whatever we have to do to get out of here.
I find it pretty damn convenient that our captors put blank implants in our heads and left us where our rescuers could find.

they're both involved in whatever brought us here. captors, rescuers. the guys in the shelter were trying to find weapons or some shit, they got us instead.

( thanks for the vote of confidence. jason sends one more message--directions to a shady bar downtown. the same old kind of shitty bar jason would usually visit--just, you know. repictured into a cyberpunk-esque feel. )

[ Gross. Bars are gross. The people in them are gross. Especially Jason. It's lucky he looks old enough to not get carded... or the place is shady enough not to care. ]

( bars are gross, but that makes them easy to hide shady activities in. jason spent his first bit in town finding first: a nice, empty building to call base and second: a shady as fuck bar close to it. jason shouldn't have had money, but he already has a drink in his hand (whisky), raises it up in greeting to damian. )

Nowhere more private than here.

They all do what they need to in order to survive. They can give back to the community once they've established themselves. ]

( which probably says a lot to damian, actually. jason shifts, moves his boots up onto the booth to the side of damian's leg and slouches over a bit more. gets comfortable. )

It has it's villains of the week, but it has good ol' Supes and his son pulling all the kittens out of trees and puppies out of the rivers.

Superman has a son? One old enough to be powered and rescuing people? And Jason knows him to be younger -- the divergences go back further, clearly, but... ]

Then we'll start there. The Joker dropped a bomb on mine and killed Superman's wife and unborn child.

( oh. yeah. he can see how that could cause some commotion. superman isn't fragile, he doubts even that would break the big guy down--but it'd be enough to hurt him severely. )

Jonathan. He's ten. You recruited him a bit back--you're still thirteen when I'm from--and roam the streets together on occasion. You've got your own Teen Titans too.

[ He has the Teen Titans? Tim would be rolling in his fucking grave. But sharing facts like this will make it easier to talk about. Like playing cards. ]

Red Robin and his Titans died in the aftermath of the explosion. They were heading into town for some inane reason or another when the bomb dropped. Cyborg and Raven survived by virtue of being on the Watchtower at the time.
