[Kate heads over to the little pile of makeshift weapons he's made, letting out a long-suffering sigh at the sight of the slingshot. Man, she'd do anything for her bow. The birdarangs are closer to what she's used to, so she starts with those, tossing one just to get a feel for the weight.
The first target is simple—she sights and throws in one smooth motion, hitting what's likely meant to be the bullseye easily. The next two go similarly, but for the further targets she switches to the slingshot, just so he can't say she didn't use it, as much as it pains her. The dicier angles don't seem to trip her up, either. Admittedly, she's been doing stuff like this with Clint for so long that this is second nature.
Once she hits the farthest target, she tosses the slingshot to Damian.]
[ He's impressed. This is no extensive training course, but no amateur would be able to make those. Not that accurately. And not with shoddy equipment like this. Even if she might be stressing how much of a pro she actually is -- well, she could probably blow Roy Harper out of the water.
He takes the slingshot. Makes the same shots - he hits all the targets. But even he can't deny she bests him at more than a few.
He rests a hand on his hip, considering. ]

[A bit of that bravado peels away, and when she smiles at him this time, it's more relaxed. He's good, too—certainly a better marksman than a lot of people she's teamed up with.]

Kate takes a deep breath, then aims a sharp right hook at his jaw. It's a little bit of a test—she wants to see how quickly he can move with all that bulk, but it's going to become readily apparent where her real talents lie. While she's good at hand-to-hand, she's definitely unpolished.]

[She knows she impressed him, though. She totally kicked his ass at his first "test", so his goading doesn't bother her. This time, Kate makes a grab for his arm, trying to jerk him forward so she can drive her knee into his middle.]

[ No dice on that one, but good effort. Her hand definitely skims his arm before he wheels out of range. He's making no move to hit back this time, more intent to see how she actually fights than to put her down in one blow. ]
Truth be told, nine times out of ten she prefers to take out people quickly and sneakily if her bow isn't an option. This isn't that. She sweeps a quick kick at his side, hoping at least to distract him, then follows up with a sharp jab.]
