Jonathan. He's ten. You recruited him a bit back--you're still thirteen when I'm from--and roam the streets together on occasion. You've got your own Teen Titans too.

Red Robin and his Titans died in the aftermath of the explosion. They were heading into town for some inane reason or another when the bomb dropped. Cyborg and Raven survived by virtue of being on the Watchtower at the time.

Cy's on the Justice League, not the Titans. Kori's fine, ( with a brief, brief pause. ) She was with me for a bit, her and Roy. Arsenal. Tim's alive. We thought he was dead for a bit, turns out Supes' mutated father kidnapped him for a bit. And then there was Batman Tim, who came 'round trying to kill Jon for supposedly-- ( that's a long story. maybe not relevant. )

Timmers is fine. The Titans are still around. Dick's alive and kicking. You're alive. B picked up Duke a bit ago. Babs is fine. So's Kate, even if she got on B's shitlist again. Cass's is alright.

( did he miss anyone? when did the list get so long. )

[ He ticks it off on his fingers. ]

Harper's off my radar. I have no idea who Duke is. Nor Cass. Batwoman is dead. So is Montoya. Huntress. [ He doesn't sound particularly - well, empathetic to those deaths. ] Batgirl is alive.

[ He actually has to think. ]

Green Arrow is dead. Jessie Quick is dead. All of the Green Lanterns of Earth, save for Hal, are all dead. Hawkman. Luthor died. Shazam.. [ He's run out of fingers. But he pauses. Uncomfortable. ] And Grayson.

[ He moves on quickly, though. ]

You did die. The Joker took you out. Mother must have dug you up and revived you for some morbid reason. I only found out recently. Mother is fine. Ra's is fine. Animal Man and Vixen are both fine. [ .... ] And I'm not certain of Athanasia.

She didn't dig me up.

( maybe this bit's good to clear out at least. a little. maybe. god he hates talking about this. the crowbar jokes are fine but the actual bit after? hurts to remember. )

I died. Was, y'know. ( hand raising up and fingers curling in, gesturing like he's swinging the bar himself. ) Everyone knows that by now. Anyway. Woke up a bit later inside my grave, but most've this is pretty hazy. Had to dig myself out, destroyed most my fingers in the process. My head wasn't on right, I spent a shitton of time on the streets. Talia found me, dunked me into the Pit, threw me out her house and hoped good ol' grandpa wouldn't find me. Guess he was pissed about the whole thing.

( that's that. ) Harper went to college, last I heard. Duke's the newest orphan to join B's collection. He's alright. Cass was before--Shiva and David Cain's kid. Had a rough childhood, is functioning about as well as expected.

We've got two Wally's running around, one Barry, Hal's fine, Rayner's still running, Baz and Cruz were fine last I checked, as was Gardner. ( god why do they know so many people. ) No idea who Jessie Quick is. Haven't seen Hawkman in a while. Shazam's fine, left the League though.

Dick was Bats for a bit. He's back to Bludhaven. Tim said he was going off to college. B and Catwoman almost got married, but that went to shit.

[ There's a nasty laugh at that second last bit. Of COURSE they did. ] Let me guess: she took off on him the second it got 'boring'.

[ Because that's the kind of person she is, as far as he's concerned. ]

My sister. [ which, honestly, if jason wasn't around the league he wouldn't know. ] She's sixteen. Mother only saw fit to tell me she existed when she came to liberate me from Father's grasp.

He's disowned me more times than I can count in the last--what, six years? Five?

Put me in Arkham for a bit, ( not lessening the blow of being locked up, but. trying to give damian enough for the message of i get you to pass. ) He's not gonna pull that shit again.

( because jason may have not fought back much when it was for his own faults, but he'd be damn sure to give bruce every ounce he's got to protect damian. )

[ He wouldn't have admitted that at thirteen. Never. Being the blood son had been all that mattered. He could say something back - like, i'm not going to bury another brother. But really we're family says it all. ]

There's one more thing we should address.

It's only a matter of time before we get our hands dirty and start up the family business again. [ It's fact. Because they can't help themselves. You get a taste of being good and you choke for more. ] My father's methods are flawed. I've seen first hand what happens when you give unrepentant sickos and monsters an endless string of second chances.

[ Death on a massive scale. Far more human suffering than needs to ever occur. ]

If you still follow his philosophy -- fine. Don't expect me to, and don't get in my way. Some people deserve to die.

Steph's not strong enough to be a problem if she tried, ( though he does pause for a moment, clicks his tongue against the roof of his mouth. ) but she's not the one from my universe, so I don't know. Kara might be, but she already told me she doesn't give a shit if I put holes in the guys who are behind us getting stuck here.
